Synopsis

Two likeminded runaways find each other in a contemplation of fragile joy, forces tear them apart as they find back together but lastly, the inner demons of the past rip them apart.

Directors statement

ZIZ' (Sisters) is a dance film in the widest sense. Shot in a cinema verité style, the film language is meandering between art, dance and narrative. Even the protagonists don't know what the other characters secrets are, scenes are shot secretly with the result that until its edited and premiered, nobody knows the true intentions and paths of the characters. The focus point is the creation of unique emotions rather than explanations. The film has been shot with a minimal team in a very short time frame.
